OVERVIEW

The GoCardless Workflow Integration module connects GoCardless with Perfex CRM to streamline payment processing. Its primary purpose is to automatically update invoice statuses in Perfex CRM based on payment events received via GoCardless webhooks. Additionally, it allows administrators to initiate payment requests directly from the invoice view and track the status of these payments in real-time.

CORE FEATURES

Automatic Invoice Updates: The module listens for GoCardless webhook events (e.g., confirmed, paid_out, failed). When a payment is confirmed, the associated invoice in Perfex CRM is automatically marked as paid, and a payment record is created.

Payment Request Creation: Staff members with permission can create a GoCardless Billing Request directly from an invoice. This generates a payment link that can be sent to the customer.

Webhook Logging: A dedicated log stores all incoming webhook events, allowing administrators to troubleshoot issues and verify that events are being processed correctly.

Payment Failure Notifications: If a payment fails (e.g., failed, cancelled, charged_back), the system can send an email notification to a specified address and log the failure in the invoice activity.

Seamless GoCardless Integration Setup: Manage your GoCardless API details, webhook secret, and automation settings directly within Perfex CRM. The module processes incoming payment events and updates invoices, logs activity, and triggers notifications to keep your financial workflow aligned with real-time GoCardless data.
